About
Street Photography from exploring the street of Edinburgh

“Some sort of pressure must exist; the artist exists because the world is not perfect. Art would be useless if the world were perfect, as man wouldn’t look for harmony but would simply live in it. Art is born out of an ill-designed world.”
- Andrei Tarkovsky

What is MainFrame:

MainFrames: In and Our of Motion is a bi-weekly publication about creative culture, with a specific focus on cinema and photography. How do you tell the story you want and what even is a “good story?”

Mainframe has stemmed from my own personal journey into the world of animation where I have sought after ways to articulate my thoughts on artistic practice and understand how I approach my own work.

Join me in this conversation as I explore both the moving and the still image.
